Speedo and Tach "Sticking"

Could be loose connectors to the instrument cluster. The cluster (inside pod) has three
card-edge connectors to its printed-circuit board that forms the back of the cluster. These work
loose, fall off or get corroded. Lie on back, with face under dash, look up with flash and try to
reach up with finger or wood stick and push on connector to make sure they are fully seated.

If this (easy) approach doesn't help.... Remove lower plastic shield, unplug each connector
(one-at-a-time) give a shot of contact/electrical cleaner and replug. If that doesn't work, you
may have to remove cluster, pod and send cluster unit off to be fixed ($$$$), get new or used
cluster or just live with it.
