Daytime Running Lights

On my 87 the fog lights can be used as daytime running lights by connecting the top of fuse
#4 to the top of fuse #43 and leaving the fog light switch on. I bought spade lug adapters that
consist of a female plug with a male plug on each end. You need two for each fuse, plugging
one male end into the fuse sockets, bending the other male end up slightly and then plugging
the fuses into the female adapters. Make up a jumper cable with female fittings on both ends
and plug them onto the remaining male fittings on the top of the two fuses. This mod also turns
the license plate lights on and allows you to open and close the windows and a few other
functions without the key by turning the parking lights on.
