Oil Cooler Hose Repair

Regarding leaky oil cooler hoses:

I have had great results taking similar oil and trans cooler hoses over to my local hydraulic
hose place, where they are able to replace the hose portion using my steel end fittings. Hoses
that have swaged collars are replaced with new collars that look like they are made for the job
(I guess they are...) so that, except for different markings on the hose itself, you would think
it's a factory part.
