I drove it to work, fueled it up when I got home, hand washed it, then I went to the edge of town and pulled a 240 kph before I put it way for the night.

On the 29th I took the Shark in to a local upholsterer to finally get my "almost" full Robert Budd Blue Leather interior installed!!!! Yee-ha

I have been looking for someone for over year now. He is actually a VW restoration specialist looking to start his own business. He has his work in magazines and I saw a lot of his other pics in a portfolio. I am REALLY excited. Will let you know how it turns out. He is doing everything, like pulling the dash and repairing the splits etc.

I have not gone any further on my car yet, but I have decided to keep my 89 heads as I believe they are better. I will be shipping them to Greg Brown to be rebuilt because I am sure they will come back perfect thank you all for your comments which helped and brought me to this decission.

I saw a pic from Sean Ratts and the words with it were something about Malcolm's broken car... Hope he was kidding or at the very least that it isn't serious!

I drove it to the casino for the shine and show off night.
I was surrounded by some beautiful American muscle . Only the sophisticated
Onlookers knew what she was. Most had never seen under the hood of a car like this.
Also my wife won 150$ at the slot machines. A great night

Hey - not sure yet, looks like (hopefully) under or around 2K. But he is also doing all the removal, put-back and repairing the cracks in the dash etc. Includes carpet. The only think he is not doing is the headliner and the 2 rear quarter panels. Will post about it when I am done....it is so HOT here, he is having a hard time coming home and working in an un-airconditioned garage for too long. Maybe another 1-2 weeks.

As for the actual interior, I got a STEAL of a price, but I looked at it with Robert Budd himself at a local Frenzy and we priced the material at around 3 grand I think, but I paid much less. So that puts it at around 5k total, as a guess-ti-mate.
