Looking for quality 87-91 S4 in TX

Greetings to all. I currently have a 2006 C4S cabrio as my daily driver. I've always wanted a 928. I just got outbid this weekend on a fantastic 87 S4 in Austin. I am looking for a quality 87-91 S4 automatic with less than 100,000 miles in great shape. It would be great if the car is in TX, but that's not critical. Thanks for any help!

There is a fantastic S4 in Austin other than mine, Grants and John's? I can't hardly believe that!

I can tell you a REALLY NICE S4 will cost you $15k+ You can buy them for less but they won't be as nice as that and ultimately will cost you AT LEAST that much to make them as good as they CAN be...again not as good as the $15k+ car though.

The car was a 1987 S4 Silver with Grey interior. I drove up from Houston to look at it. 73K miles, three owners all records and drove great. I offered 12.5 K and he was willing to take that but I insisted on a PPI first. The next day someone in LA bid 13.2K (his buy it now price was 13.9K) without a PPI and he took it (I don't blame him).

But they are still checking out the compression and I think it is just carbon and sea foam will clean it up

I think he's only selling the supercharger kit, not the car.
