Good morning 928 fans
I bet many of you are out enjoying your cars, I wish I was.

Yesterday I picked up the Samsung S3 so it is easier to surf the forum without waiting for the screen to load.
This will really help at work during the day while at meetings and out of the office.
See, my new phone is 928 related ha ha

I hope you all have a great 928 day

Good morning, Brad. I wish I was going to be enjoying a 928 today. Unfortunately, it looks I'll be devoting the bulk of my time to a far less exciting car.

I wonder if the majority of members find such pictures offensive?

might not be the best representation by a super moderator then supported by the pres. IMHO.

Yes, Malcolm. That stupid electric train with that dumb trolly up to the wire really offends me. At least it could have a 928 in the background.

I don't see anything wrong with it. Many car magazines have similarly dressed women plastered all over them. They don't ID you when you buy them as they would if you were buying a pornographic magazine. IMO no nudity, no foul. If there are members who disagree I am open to their opinions and welcome them to contact me and/or Brad.

I am with you guys, but know there are some more sensitive that don't like that sort of thing. Probably need to revoke their "man cards" but that is another story altogether, or put them on supplemental Testosterone shots or something! ;)

Actually the only one who "complained" about it was me and that was about that stupid train. Even Malcolm didn't complain; he just wonders about the rest of us who might, but alas, only me so far. I still don't like that train. All aboard! Tickets please!

Just curious James as I believe there was similar discussion prior to OCIC.

wrt to revoke 'man' cards its perhaps good to remember OC membership is made up of both sexes and most of us men have wifes/girlfriends and daughters.

That might be true, Malcolm, but it is not a good idea to post about it here because they might see it, and my wife doesn't know about my girl friend.

I hope you and your wife are both well.

Edit the post as you wish. Do keep in mind that there have never been complaints, by either sex, about photos like the above neither now or ever before. Some may not like it, others might love it. Either way, I don't see any rule infraction here. I am very conservative toward censorship and urge all posters to post anything they wish providing the following:

1. It fits the forum description if it is a new thread.
2. If not a new thread, then the post shouldn't deviate much from the topic of discussion. Obviously, there should be more leniency on this within the Say Good Morning forum. In this case, you're the OP so I would advocate that you can make this thread pretty well whatever you want it to be about.
3. It stays within the rules i.e. no profanity, personal attacks, etc.

Use common sense. A good rule of thumb is to behave here just as you would in public or among a group of your close friends. For instance, if you were a democrat and your friend was a diehard republican. Well, you wouldn't pick on those differences. You would likely stick to topics that make you alike in the first place. That said, I obviously would discourage religion or politics from being discussed here. :D

If you think what you are posting may be found offensive by someone, reconsider it. If not, let it fly. I've never been notified of *any* posts which were found offensive. When we are, Brad, we'll go from there.

Malcolm's point might have been good, but I was sure trying to have some fun pulling his chain about it.

Can't imagine being married to someone or having a GF who FREAKED every time a beautiful woman passed by my line of sight. But to each his own!

My Wife told me a long time ago that I can look, but I cannot touch; sort of like even though I have ordered, I don't have to stop looking at the menu! At this state of my life I am pretty sure she knows that even if I changed my order there is not much I can do about what else I might get.

I tell my wife it does not matter where I get my appetite as long as I come home for dinner! So far that is working... been married a mere 24 years (well in 2.5 months it will be).

This past weekend there was a gala that as part of the festivities was honoring my brother and there was a silent auction and free booze and and great appetizers at a really nice hotel in town... All non profit stuff so companies would buy tables and I guess give the tickets to the younger folks and let them come out and have fun... Well, there were a TON of young, gorgeous, single women there wearing REALLY short dresses and really high heels (and I am a leg man, so yea, this is RIGHT UP MY ALLY) and my wife looks at me and says, "you are really loving this aren't you?" I said, "what????" LOL! Yea, I was pretty much in heaven! She said they were hookers, I told her if that was the case she would need to find another ride home because I was getting a room! LOL!!!!
