Rant of the day, Post here was created by 928mac
It seems that the past month as I have been trying to continue to tune my car,
There has been abnormal anomalies
I see now that it looks like my TPS sensor that was provided by 928ms is failing.
dam dam dam dam dam

I really really REALLY hate to have to redo shit
I Really like the electromotive functionality and software
But the kit and some of the parts that I got from 928ms .... SUCK.

So thats my Rant today :D

I still have not pulled the intake or checked out why the TPS seems to be sticking but it continues to happen, but it is worse cold and unsticks when the temp sensor moves.
i may be able to repair it.

[In advance, sound of Wally cringing~]

In my opinion, the 928 automobile really isn't all that difficult to work on. The technology of this car is 30 years old, and while there are many things that are hard to get at, if you take your time and STUDY the manuals before you take the car down and dive into a major repair, nearly anyone can work on this thing.

I grew up with an engineer father, and I have an engineering degree as well. But my dad had me changing the oil on his cars when I was 7. So I have a mechanical background. As such, when something breaks, I try to fix it myself first. At 47 years old and well established at my airline, I have the money to have it towed off to a professional shop and repaired by experienced mechanics. I've taken it to a shop FOUR times in the 14 years that I've owned this thing, two of them were timing belt changes, and one was a breakdown on the highway [shift coupler, a couple of months ago]. I have absolutely NO professional training on auto repair whatsoever. In fact, I really wish, as an airline pilot...that in college I had minored in aviation maintenance. I'd love to buy a Piper Cherokee, but the fact that I don't have the A&P license necessary to maintain it keeps me away. And it is around $100 per hour to rent these days!

Yes, there will always be something that kicks your ass. When I was 7, my tae kwon do instructor told me that no matter how much I learned, there will always be someone who can kick my butt. So the lesson is give it your best and don't let it bother you if you can't fix it yourself.

Well, I tend to be long winded at times. And I still can't fight my way out of a paper bag-
