VIR this weekend

Going to VIR (Virgina International Raceway) this weekend for the Tudor Sports Car race. There will be a Porsche Platz which includes a drive around the track. We went last year and it was a fun weekend. There will also be the Maserati Trofeo race as well as Lamborgini and some other supporting races. The major Porsche Teams will be there and there are multiple classes of cars running at the same time, including the Prototypes, makes for constant action.

We also rented a Golf Cart this year so we can go all over to different vantage points during the races easier.

I am taking the Shark. Last year I think there were only 1-2 others out of over 100 Porsches (it was the 50th anniversary as well)

So if you go, I hope to see you there! VIR is kind of in the middle of nowhere,,, but it is a really nice place to go and watch racing. The track has been resurfaced and widened this year.

I have the entire parade lap(s) we went around 2.5 times..! Fun, and some other video and pics... will work on them this week.

The weather was awesome and so was the ending of the race.... great weekend. More later as I am out of town again the next 2 days
