Hey all,
Most of you know about the US's mini Nurburgring,,,, VIR. An awesome track, recently widened and resurfaced. I was able to go around it a few times the past couple of years on parade laps and the setting is relaxing a beautiful. The only problem with this and may other tracks is that they are put in the middle of nowhere due to noise etc. and usually require a long time to get there!
Luckily for us we are hoping that a new track being built right beside I-95, just south of Fredericksburg Va., will give us something to go to and actually have some convenient track time at. It will be a 2 mile road course. There is also a small Nascar sanctioned oval and a drag strip as well as a Karting track coming as well.

It is supposed to open spring/summer of 2015, so once I get out there I will provide an update. I am sure the local PCA will try to book it for a spin, so we will see.
