1989 S4 4-spoke wheel with 30mm spacer

My 1989 S4 steering wheel has a 30mm built-in spacer (option code M018 Sport Steering Wheel with elevated hub ~30mm) that, for my build, makes for a very awkward driving position, I like the wheel a little further forward. I know some people prefer the closer rearward position, so if you prefer the latter, I propose a trade.

Do you have a wheel without the 30mm spacer and would prefer one with it, let's swap!

I have heard about the spacer but never seen one. From your comment it sounds like it is integrated in the wheel so you need to swap wheel and spacer together?

The spacer also raises the steering wheel somewhat, so if you need the legroom you might hold on to it. Perhaps borrow a stock wheel and try it. Hook up with the NorCal Region this weekend at ' Sharks in the Park '.

Or Mark Anderson (928 International) can sell you a used one and if you like it you can then have it recovered by Paul Champagne or Ron Budd.
