I was feeling crappy about the end of our driving season and thought i would start a to do list. Working on my shark is almost as enjoyable as driving it(a very distant second).
I plan on installing: a short throw shifter
checking the timming belt and wp
remouving and painting the front nose
checking vacuum lines
cleaning ground points
replacing sun roof switch
check and repair rear hatch rele
Install a RMB
This is my start list of things to get done before spring.I'm sure something else will come up .I've been sourcing parts and will start to order soon. I will also need lots of pictures of how to do the timming belt and wp. Any suggestions of what to check over the winter is very welcome.

There should be plenty of tips, with photos on doing the timing belt & waterpump, as well as other things you might want to do.

Sean,

We want to build a technical library. Paul (Pcplod) is going to start scouring the 'net for the best procedures. If you have some favorites please let him know. Or if you know that some procedures are lacking or missing entirely, could we entice you to develop some? I could envision (with board approval) having the 928 OC buy camcorder, tripod, etc. to be shipped around as people do maintenance to detail the process.

I believe Brad (928mac) is going to help as well. If anyone else wants to help, please let me know. I have started developing the 928 OC Technical Library to house what we develop, whether it be content, or just links to content. Ideally we at least have a copy of content, so it won't end up in the bit bucket at some point.

Not sure. The PO said it had been done but I don't have documentation. So I'll do it again and then I'll be sure it's o.k. The car has 183000 km. on it.I checked through the breather hole on the cam cover and the top of the belt has a metalic shine to it( from the tentioner wheel I think) so I want a closer look.
