Info about a 928 (1979) delivered in Belgium was created by fadi.adra
Hello all. I have just acquired a manual red 928 that was initially bought in Belgium in 1979.its original manual shows it was first bought by a Mr Roland Biard in Belgium. I’m trying to rebuild the car’s history. Any ideas on how to track its first years in Belgium would be much appreciated.many thanks!Fadi

I have visited and enjoying Belgium. Are there garage stamps in the service history, if those garages are still in existence they may have some helpful information. What a great find, it looks to be in great condition.

Thank you for your message! There are no garage stamps, only the page showing the name of the first owner. There’s also a name of a company, SA Locatrans, which seems to be a Porsche distributor or agent of the period that sold the car to Mr Biard.
I have emailed Porsche Brussels as well as the Belgian Porsche club, hoping I hear back.
The car is actually in very good shape, with only 43k km, and still original paint.. I’m lucky!
