5 hour drive to Edmonton for my first 928 event.
I am meeting the southern Alberta Regional rep, Malcolm, spend some time together and get to know each other.
I am more excited about this then getting my wheels off of him ha ha :)

Colder here to day, that is the snow quit melting and its freezing back up.

I wish you all a great weekend, i may not get wi-fi on the road.

Have a great 928 day

Brad

Glad it worked our Brad :)

For those curious Brad and I live 10 hrs apart, 1 way and it was good fortune that I was in Edmonton this past week and weekend so we could coordinate the exchange.

Not only was it a pleasure doing business w/Brad but the honesty and integrity we shared demonstrated once again what an incredible bond we 928 owners have. :D

Not only that but Japanese guys like to take pictures of his son, and Malcolm's kind of cute too. ha ha :D

Sorry Malcolm. It was a great time and thanks for taking me to that performance hot rod shop. There were two cars that spun out and hit the ditch right in front of me when I left, before I got to Barrhead

James I don't the spec but I have heard that as far as land mass goes that Canada is larger then the USA.

Now I do not know if that is the USA and Alaska
but I am sure that it must be Canada and the NWT is bigger then the mass south of us.

I guess a guy could google it
ok I just googled it
www.mongabay.com/igapo/world_statistics_by_area.htm

Canada is 9.9 mil sq miles
USA is 9.6 mil sq miles
Russia is 17 mil sq miles

And you guys have fewer folks that we do by a HUGE margin... What 310 million down here and 30ish Million Canadians? How many Russian's are there? Something between the two of us I guess. Anyway, LOTS of unused land mass FOR SURE! Makes you wonder why folks think this good earth can only handle 8 or 9 billion people if the current population is 6 billion???? Heck I would think you could fit another 6 billion in the unused parts of Russia alone! Not that anyone would want to live there or that they could support it, but there is enough space for sure!

It is one of my recording sites.

These are all original songs and like most music you get one good one out of fifty.
ha ha I don't think there are 50 of them there.

well I just thought I would share

... Man, Canada is a BIG PLACE!

James: You know how Texans like to think their state is big? Well, my province, Ontario, is 1.6x larger! That said, you can't drive in much of it.

Martin, I have looked at a map (I love them...vs. most Americans who are lucky to even KNOW Canada is to our North and Mexico to our South) and am always in awe when I try to fathom just how BIG Canada is and how FEW people live there...that said, I understand WHY so few live up there (who wants to deal with your Winters after all)! You guys have more Wilderness than we do by many, many times I am sure! Like you said, you have places so remote you can't even GET TO THEM!

Reminds me of the trivia question, how many US States extend further North than the most southern point of Canada?

27?! I guess it is because the most southern part of Canada is that bit around the great lakes that comes very close to MI... I STILL would not have guessed 27!

I did not know that and even looking at the picture find it hard to believe there are 27 states at our most southern tip. Cool trivia

Yeah - when I used to live in New Haven CT neighbours would ask if I was going UP to Canada in my vacation. I'd answer, "No, I'm going OVER to Canada." They'd look blankly at me as I said Canada was due West.

LOL! I bet most if not ALL of Montana and North Dakota are north of the southern most part of Canada! Of course ALL of the NE is! Had never really thought about it before this thread but Canada cows pretty far South!
