On dormant memories and new perspectives

On Friday the road insurance on my ’88 RX7 cab was activated automatically. I know this because I wrote myself a note in the Fall when I put the car away. On Sunday I uncovered the car. Opening the door I was greeted with a familiar smell – all cars, especially old ones, have a unique smell – not necessarily bad, but one you associate with past, hopefully pleasurable, experiences with the car.

I found a small collection of parts on the passenger seat where I put them to remind me of the unfinished projects.

I reinstalled the battery, and then surveyed the engine bay. It’s in really good condition, but after cleaning my 928 engine, I immediately noticed things that could be made to look better with citrus wipes, Simple Green, or metal polish. Another project for me

I have two hobby cars James - and I'm the glutton. What does that make you with 4x?

That's the time you start itching for a new project car - BTDT!

Good Morning ( or late evening) from SoCal.
I'm having withdrawal symptoms, the 928's are running great, no work needed, and the only problem i have is a ABS error on my Land Rover - and I have no urge to get in and fix it. The wife is out of town anyway, so i'm driving her Range Rover!
Bring on a real project, please!
