I hate to be so dumb but, I am really not sure how to go about adjusting the rear shocks installed by a PO. They're supposed to be SACHS; however, I can't find any info online.

I know they look kinda rough but they seem to work well and I have been able to turn the threaded portion (it's just that I don't know if the whole thing is SUPPOSED to turn!) Sooooo, any help would be greatly appreciated! My wish is to raise the rear a 1/4 to 3/8ths of an inch.

Need a bigger picture, but those do not look like they are adjustable. The sleeve appears to not have an adjusting nut attached to it.

On a normal, later style 928 shock/spring combo, the sleeve that fits over the shock is static, there will be an adjusting nut that will rotate on the sleeve.

In this photo you can see the adjusting nut the spring perch sits on. You don't appear to have that.
