LSD additive and 75w90 recommendations

Hello all,

I posted this up over on Pelican, I'd really like some helpful advise.
I am wanting to change the manual trans/diff oil in my 83s.

It has the optional LSD but with it only being 40% lock up is the additive needed?

I think I'd rather stick with conventional oil, Valvoline seems to make the only conventional 75w90. What are you guys using?

Lots of variables involved...

You can actually just use the non-additive oil and see what happens. If you get grumbling, growling or shuddering, just put in a bit of additive and drive. If the growling or shuddering continues, put in more additive.

I use the Mobil 1 synthetic.

Hi, I've been using Mobil 1 75/90 synthetic in my 1985 manual w/ LSD for years w/o any issues.
