I am still trying to hookup my climent control and I tried to match wire colors up and I keep blowing fuses. I have a 78 euro and the climent control I am putting in is from a 1980 are the wire color combos still the same? I have put hours in and Iam getting nowhere fast HELP!

I think you need a wiring diagram of both cars.
Are both ROWS or US?
There could be difference there as well.

I think you can get CDs, created by Jim Morehouse, with the wiring diagrams on them from 928srus.com

What specific part are you trying to wire in and what fuse is blowing? Is it the plugs to the driver controls?

Excellent! Now on to the next project I assume. Keep us informed and I wish you continued luck with the car.

Just a bit of tech info on blower motors.
If they have a squeaky bushing, drill a 1/16 hole in the shaft end and with a needle tip, pump in some grease. seal it back up with a dab of silicone.

if the blower motor is /was stuck it would be a very good idea to remove it and take it apart and clean it out, use compressed air to blow out the windings, then get some elex cleaner spray and flush out both ends of the shaft bearings then blow out with compressed air .
Do the flushing a few times then get some thin oil and lubricate the bushings, it is helpful to have power supply running through a used resistor pack to run the motor prior to installing it,
this way you can test the breakaway force.
Also inspect the armature slip rings if they are worn or the brushes are worn then you may have to replace the motor
