Wheel Locks was created by SeanR
If your car has them, and you drop your car off to have work done on it. Please do the mechanic a favor and put the key in the car. Otherwise it will cause the mech to destroy your locks, in order to get the wheel off. It also won't be cheap for him to do that.

Ouch! Been there and done that one! Half the time the owner doesn't even realize they have wheel locks.

Once I souced the right tools, it only took 20 minutes to get them off. My lug removal tools wouldn't cut it this time due to the amount of corrosion in there. I took a 7/8ths hole saw and cut them down, then used the trusty Craftsman lug tools and they came right out.

very cool. I have never thought of cutting with a hole saw, very smart.

I bet the heat from the hole saw even assisted in the removal.

Nice job!

Back in the day maybe the slotted dish wheels were the bomb, hell, maybe even the 17" CUP I and II wheels were but today, no one even gives them a second look or gives a damn about them. Just take the damn things off and throw them away or sell them to someone who does not know better!
