Manual shifting automatic

Is there any way to manually shift between 1st & 2nd gear on a 4spd automatic. An aftermarket valve body, maybe?

Yes, start out with the shifter in 2. When you start from a stop it puts the trans into 1st. When you want to shift, slide the shifter up to 3 and then quickly back to 2 and it will shift to second. Just shift up to third next. Remember to hold the shift lock button down when doing the quick shift back from 3 to 2.
