Car Runs Great and Randomly Stalls Out of Nowhere

Car Runs Great and Randomly Stalls Out of Nowhere was created by ajr9640
1986.5 Euro/Row (16 valve)
The car runs great most of the time and pulls hard. Out of the blue, it will randomly stall while driving, and then keep going like nothing.... and in some cases it will turn off. This will occasionally happen when its just idling while parked. Typically, I can restart immediately and keep going. I've been unable to isolate the problem to any particular situation (hitting bumps, taking a curve, acceleration, etc...). Welcome any ideas on things to check or double check.
I figure its either fuel or spark/electric related, so sharing the possibly relevant things I've done recently:
- Replaced all soft fuel lines in the car (at gas tank and engine compartment)
- Had Rich (who's been a Godsend) recalibrate the MAF and inspect the LH module
- Replaced fuel regulators and damper
- Removed, cleaned, and inspected fuel tank; replaced fuel sender, fuel filter. Also checked for possible obstructions near fuel tank
- Have cleaned most of the ground points in the car
- New Crank Position Sensor
- New battery, spark plugs
- Next up: Timing Chain, Water Pump service
Thanks!
Alex
