10-Speaker Stereo - WWYD

I have an ‘89 S4 with the 10-speaker setup. The rear woofers it came with (the ones by the doors) are wearing out — how do you have your rear speakers set up? I am trying to decide if I should try to replace them with the same type, or wire something else up. What do you suggest? It’s still using the factory amp.

I had the rear speakers on my GTS refoamed by an independent repair shop.

Finding the correct replacements may be difficult, please pay attention to the Ohm rating.

Thanks! Those are some rare speakers indeed — the shallow depth definitely adds to the rarity. I am considering a reversible setup with a subwoofer to make those speakers unnecessary.
