Repair turn signal stick

when using the turn signal either left or right one way it will not stick in place and stay on while you’re turning and the opposite direction. Once you’ve made the turn, it will not turn off and go back to neutral. Can I repair it or do I have to get a new one

Get a used one from Ebay or a junk yard.
