Just purchased a 86.5 928 manual with 55k original miles. Formerly a resident of SoCal I live on the east coast now.
Any recos on oil type or brand? 10w 50 seems to be generally a good call. Brand type anyone has experience with?

Bruce and his son Sean are amongst the top 928 mechanics worldwide. They are unfortunately for us North Americans based in Australia. Bruce only recommends 20W50 with a high Zinc content. There are a few YouTube videos available where he explains his reasoning and experience on the subject matter. I personally use LiquiMoly 20W50 with their anti friction additive.
