Alternator upgrade

Hello,

as 928 Motorsports no longer manufactures it’s upgraded alternator, even though Pelican Parts still shows the listing. Has anyone found an alternative alternator to replace the factory one. Mine recently failed and I was thinking of taking this opportunity to upgrade it to one with a higher output. My car is a 1984 US 928.

Roger at 928sRus sells the "uber alternator".  Not sure if it'll work on a 1984 928 (it shows on his website for 1985+), but worth giving Roger a call to inquire.
