Probably a bit different from Alberta to TN 
Here in MA, the salt/de-icer they put on the road is enough for me to hesitate about driving my fun cars

Ya know dought. I don't think I want any salt on an old car. I am guessing that mine is still original and even though I am thinking of taking it in for paint, I am hesitating about that. There are also so points that are not aluminum and the salt will cause that nice white oxidation. Has the Admin posted any car Pics. It is always nice to view other peoples cars and get ideas. Hint Hint

That's another reason why I said country roads. In Tennessee, our country roads don't get conditioned the same way as our main roads with salt and such. I love it!!
