Hi everyone;
I am sharing this incase anyone has come across this high Idle problem.

I drove the car to work today and and it ran fine.
I drove it home after work and it ran fine.
I parked it in the garage and took Deb to the dentist in the truck.
When we got home 2.5 hr later it would rev at 3000-3300 rpm when started.
I did a visual check but did not find anything.
I am guessing that it must be a vacuum leak from a split hose but everything looks ok so it would have to be a hose at the Idle air control valve.
Malcolm did your split hose act like that

Brad........the split hose issue I had did NOT cause this problem.

So everyone knows the hose mentioned split between the ISV and throttle body. The split happend on a hose that was only 2 driving seasons old after it was replaced with new during the intake r&r. The symtoms the split hose gave were high idle ~1200 rpm followed by surging/almost stalling idle when warm.

The first place Id look Brad is the cables; go pedal to linkage and the linkage to tbody cable. Good luck.

Ill disconnect the cables just to verify but the TPS is showing .59mv or throttle closed. The AFR is real lean at 22/1 which means that something split or let go well it heat soaked in the garage. I loaded an old ECM program just to verify it was not the ECM
