Trying to identify air conditioner part was created by EWM
Can anyone identify the air conditioning part in the attached photo? It screws into the dryer but the threads are broken off. I think it may be a refrigerant temperature sensor that switches on he auxullary electric fan but that is only a guess.
I cannot find a PET that shows air conditioning parts.
A part number might help also if this part is available anywhere.
Thanks for any help.

Yes that is exactly what it is and does, call Roger at 928's-R-US, I recently picked on up for an '84 Euro.
You may need to carefully drill out broken part.
The part can normaly be removed w/o losing any Freon, you may need a new dryer if you can not get out the broken section.

928s R Us is on the list of suppliers that are suposed to call me back if they can ID the part. A part number or even the catalog name might help.
It's a mystery part so far without a searchable name or number.

Fuond it or actually Pelican Parts found it on KAT 3 under the PET body section.
Part number 928-613-131-01. Named as a thermostat.
Why didn't I think of that?
Thanks for the help.
