Hi Carl,
I am new to this 928 community...need an exhaust for my stock 1980 928, prefer to keep it all factory stock but the factory mufflers are $$$ as I am sure you know. Tell me about this Borla set-up, what does it look like installed...can you post a photo of where the tips exit the body? Are additional/different tips needed? How loud is it relative to the original?

The exhaust exits exactly where yours does now - behind the LR tire. It looks very nice, it is nestled up under the car well just like OEM.
I do not have a video of how the Borla sounds, sorry, but it is not loud by any stretch of the imagination. It does have a deeper V8-type rumble to it than the stock system. Very pleasant.

I have a 1980 5 speed and I put a Borla exhaust on it last year. I can't tell you how happy I am with it. It is not "loud" at all; it does have a deeper growl, the best thing is that growl comes when the car is at speed. In your garage you might not notice the difference, but go down the highway with the windows down and a divider on the drivers side (so there is something for the sound to bounce off of) and you'll be grinning ear to ear.
As a guy whose done it I can tell you...just do it!
