1982 Porsche 928 Weissach Edition

Yea, I am wondering too and hoping the new owner is local (sounds like the serious person was) and that they will join us with their new toy at 2nd Sat in June to show it off!

And no side mouldings too!

I wish I'd opened this before buying the 86.5 I just picked up, I expected the price was going to be at least twice that asked. Ah well, I'll be OK without a Weissach. Dash sure looked pretty good, the rear qrt interior looked OK, etc etc..

This car stayed in the Austin area with the son of a 928 owner (the buyer is in college at UT I think he said) and it is in pretty good shape all in all! Not a bad car, but certainly a long way from being a show car. They came to our regular 2nd Sat GTG this past weekend and we had the pleasure of seeing both their cars there! NICE!

I think the son and the dad both came to 3C with their cars and I was privileged to ride in this one with the son in the back roads 200 mile or so cruise that many of us went on. The son was an excellent driver and was a little surprised to find himself in the first group of about 10 cars that were slated to do the most agressive driving for the tour. He did a great job with it and we made every bit as much speed as the group required and the law permitted, allegedly.

I think this young owner will be an asset to this car and will become one of this groups young carry on members. Thanks for the great ride.

Justin is his name and he is a super kid! VERY responsible! His dad is very nice too! Can't remember his dads name off the top of my head though...DOH!

They both come to our 2nd Sat gatherings pretty regularly!
